Refuse Driver at HEMAB

Härnösand Energi & Miljö, HEMAB, is an integral part of Härnösand. We deliver heating, water, electricity, and manage recycling. We produce green electricity through our wind turbines and our combined heat and power plant powered by biofuels, and we also take an active role in the local community, contributing to areas such as education and integration.

We are looking for a refuse driver to join our recycling team!

We are seeking a refuse driver with experience in hook-lift trucks and skip loaders who wants to become part of our recycling team at HEMAB.

We offer a workplace with a high ceiling, many wonderful colleagues, and fair conditions. We have a clear environmental profile, and several of our heavy vehicles run on our own produced biogas. With this position, you will become a very important player in our team.

About the Job

The work will involve you working with our recycling services where we perform emptying of both bins, containers, underground containers, and much more within waste and recycling. In the job, you will switch between our different vehicles – multi-compartment trucks, hook-lift trucks, and skip loaders. You are responsible for daily supervision and maintenance of the vehicle and work safely to ensure that you and your colleagues return home safely.

If needed, other tasks within recycling may also become relevant. Your mission is to, together with your colleagues, keep the municipality of Härnösand clean and tidy. A truly honorable task!

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 07:00 to 16:00.

About You

A C driver's license and valid YKB are required, as well as proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• CE
• ADR basic
• ADR tank
• Cranes (over or under 18m)
• Wheel loader – Goods handling
• Good local knowledge of Härnösand municipality

In addition to being a skilled driver, we value personal qualities such as social competence and good teamwork skills, as the job involves providing service to our customers and working in a team.

The position is a permanent full-time position in the Recycling business area, with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
