Site Manager for Recycling Center at LL Bolagen

LL Bolagen is a privately owned company rooted in Stockholm with a history dating back to 1991. About the role

As the site manager at the recycling center, you have overall responsibility for daily operations and are the natural link between employees, management, and clients. The role combines operational work on-site with administrative and leadership tasks.

You plan, lead, and follow up on the daily work for the staff and ensure that staffing, work routines, and the work environment function effectively and safely. An important part of the role is to create structure, clarity, and engagement within the workgroup and to ensure that the work is conducted according to applicable agreements, legal requirements, and internal routines.

The role also includes responsibility for documentation, reporting, and follow-up of operations, deviations, and improvement measures. You actively work on maintaining order and cleanliness at the facility, preventive work environment efforts, and continuous improvement of work methods and processes.

As a site manager, you have significant responsibility and are expected to be present in the operations, make decisions in daily matters, and act as a role model in issues related to safety, interaction, and work environment. You collaborate closely with other site managers, the operations manager, and clients to ensure stable and professional operations of the recycling center.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute the daily work at the recycling center
• Supervise and support employees in their daily tasks
• Ensure order, safety, and a good work environment
• Maintain contact with clients and follow up on routines and requirements
• Introduce and mentor new employees
• Actively work on improvements and efficiency of operations

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in leadership or similar responsibilities
• Is confident in your leadership and good at communicating
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and takes personal responsibility
• Has good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor
• Thrives in a practical environment with a fast pace
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has good administrative skills and basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Is flexible and can work according to a schedule, which may include evenings and weekends
• Has a B driver's license

Meritorious

• Experience from recycling centers, operations, or contracting
• Experience in work environment or environmental work
• PAM training
• Ability to express oneself in English, both spoken and written
