About the Position

The drinking water department at Uppsala Water is responsible for municipal drinking water preparation, from water extraction to the distribution network. For the summer of 2026, we are looking for a facility caretaker for green area maintenance of our facilities around the municipality.

You will work in the drinking water department, and your tasks will include:

• Mainly mowing and trimming grass at the properties of our waterworks and other facilities to ensure smooth operation and maintenance
• Assisting with various cleaning and tidying tasks

Working hours are between 07:00 and 16:00. Start date and duration of employment to be agreed upon.

Qualifications

• Driver's license (B)
• Comfortable driving with a trailer
• Used to working independently
• Previous experience in green area maintenance is an advantage
• Good ability to express oneself in spoken and written Swedish

The job involves a lot of personal responsibility and planning of working hours, so you should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives. Additional Information

A large part of our operations is classified as critical infrastructure since we supply Sweden's fourth largest city with drinking water. For this position, a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment.
