Are you a problem solver with technical knowledge and an interest in construction and machinery? Do you want to be part of a workplace where collaboration, quality, and customer satisfaction are in focus? Then you might be the one we are looking for to join our team in Växjö.

The position is a temporary contract starting as agreed and running until 2026.

We want to be the most appreciated employer in the industry. Not the largest – but the best when it comes to it. Therefore, we invest in our employees and focus on sustainable development for the future. With us, you get short decision-making paths and a team that collaborates to provide construction and contracting companies across Sweden with the right machine at the right place. Does that sound interesting?

Arento is a fully Swedish company that is part of the Svevia group. We supply construction and contracting companies throughout Sweden with vehicles, construction, and building machinery. With a wide range, high service level, and strong customer focus, we make it easy, safe, and profitable to rent machines and equipment. We are a reliable and professional partner who keeps our promises – always with the customer's needs in focus.

Your role as a service technician

As a service technician at Arento, you will have a varied and technically challenging job. You are responsible for ensuring that our machines and vehicles are in top condition – ready to be delivered to customers with the highest quality. Your main tasks include:

·       Service, maintenance, and repair of machines and vehicles

·       Troubleshooting, damage assessment, and preventive maintenance

·       Washing and preparing cars and machines

·       Repair and maintenance of containers and accessories

·       Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workshop

In addition, there are administrative tasks such as documentation of completed work/inbound and outbound deliveries, customer contact, and similar. You will work closely with a tight-knit team of renters, salespeople, and customer center managers – together ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in technology and experience with machines and tools. Working with equipment from small hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers) to large machines (e.g., excavators) as well as from passenger cars to trucks is something you enjoy and are comfortable with. You like to create order, are meticulous, and have an eye for quality. You are self-driven but also a team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting your colleagues.

We would like you to have:

  • High school education in a relevant technical field.

  • Experience in servicing small machines, cars, and/or construction machinery

  • Basic technical knowledge, preferably from workshops, vehicles, machinery, or other practical professions

  • Computer skills and familiarity with digital tools

  • Driving license B (BE/B96, C license, forklift license, or lift training is a plus)

  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

You enjoy working practically. Given the nature of the role, we prefer that you are flexible and can prioritize well. You are comfortable with the administration required for the role.

What we offer: A developing and stimulating job with variety and great responsibility. Arento is a company with a clear goal and a management team that constantly strives forward in a positive spirit. With us, you quickly become part of the team. Collaboration is in our DNA, and we utilize each other's strengths without prestige. With extensive knowledge of safety, handling, maintenance, and care, there is always someone to ask. We want to be a workplace for everyone. Together, we create success! Each customer center drives its own issues, and with our short decision-making paths, it is easy to make your voice heard. Arento Växjö has a great team with a good reputation, so take the chance to become one of us.
