We are now looking for an engaged team leader for our evening shift at our central warehouse in Sörred, Gothenburg.

About the Role as Team Leader

Our automated warehouse, which is of the Autostore type, is divided into inbound and outbound. The warehouse has different departments where the tasks are as follows;

Inbound

• Goods Reception: Unloading and receiving deliveries, including containers. Checking deliveries, ensuring they are intact, clean, and the correct quantity.
• Autostore Replenishment: Ensuring that deliveries to Autostore are correctly replenished on time.
• Sorting: Sorting incoming deliveries and registering in NAV. Creating transfer tasks into the warehouse.
• Storage: Transporting goods to the buffer warehouse.
• Returns: Receiving and checking returns. Registering and returning products to the warehouse.

Outbound

• Picking: Picking and packing orders in the buffer warehouse, both e-commerce orders and B2B.
• Autostore Picking: Picking and packing, ensuring the correct item and quantity to then pack for the customer.
• Delivery: Loading trucks, checking departure times, and ensuring all goods depart, booking pickups.

As a team leader, your main responsibility is the operational management. You lead the daily work in accordance with the company's goals towards set deadlines while an important part of the role is to ensure that your employees are happy, developing, and motivated. Furthermore, you are a present leader and role model by working operationally in the operations and helping where needed. Additionally, you follow up and develop the daily work together with your team. In this role, you will also have close cooperation with the Head of Warehouse, Superuser Autostore, and your fellow Team Leaders.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in coaching and leading others. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role who is driven to work towards goals and contribute to the development of both the business and yourself and your employees. You are clear and straightforward in your communication and have an interest in people as well as the ability to create a strong team spirit.

As a person, you are positive, independent, meticulous, and enjoy taking responsibility. Furthermore, you are a team player who likes to collaborate and work both individually and in a group. You are efficient and want to contribute to a good work culture where “We make things happen” is central. At Sportshopen, we work together to achieve our set goals and to develop each other and the business. To work in our warehouse, you must be at least 18 years old.

Meritorious

If you have experience with the Autostore system or work in goods reception, it is an advantage. If you have also been involved in starting up a new warehouse before, that is valuable experience. It is also advantageous to have a forklift license and a B driver's license.

We are looking for a team leader for our evening shifts, which means working hours between 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM. The position is a permanent employment of 100% that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is immediate or as agreed. Working hours are variable and three shifts may occur.

We may conduct credit checks as well as extracts from the criminal record of the applicant. In accordance with the company's policy, drug tests will be conducted upon hiring and ongoing.
