Temporary Occupational Therapist for Home Care

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in home care in Härnösand, you will work with special housing, regular housing, and individuals with disabilities. Your tasks include prescribing and testing assistive devices, making assessments, and collaborating with and instructing nursing staff. The work is characterized by close cooperation with your team colleague and other colleagues within the organization to ensure high-quality care. You will be using operational systems such as Lifecare, Lifecare SP, and WebSesam.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in home care or similar work is an advantage, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

You need to have good knowledge of using various data systems for documentation, planning, and communication as part of your daily work. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A B driver's license for manual transmission is required.

As a person, you are open and have a knack for building good relationships with patients, colleagues, and other partners. To thrive in the role of an occupational therapist, we see that you are flexible and can adapt to new situations and changing conditions while working in a structured manner. You enjoy planning, organizing, and prioritizing to achieve set goals. Most importantly, you are passionate about supporting and helping patients achieve as much independence as possible based on their abilities.

This is a temporary position over the summer of 2026 to cover for regular staff during their vacations. Start and end dates are to be agreed upon.
