We are looking for a dedicated and reliable nurse who wants to work night shifts with us in adult psychiatry. With us, you will play an important role in creating safety, continuity, and good care for patients with varying psychiatric care needs.

As a nurse on our night shifts, you play a crucial role in creating safety and continuity for patients in adult psychiatry. The night offers a calmer pace where you can work independently, make important assessments, and be the stable presence our patients need.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as experience working in a team. A specialization in psychiatric nursing, knowledge of multiple languages, and previous experience in psychiatric inpatient care are advantageous.

What you will work with

As a nurse on our night shifts, you will work with independent care assessments and medical decisions during a calmer yet responsible shift. You are a reassuring presence for patients with varying psychiatric care needs and contribute to creating stability and safety during the night. The work involves medication management, acute assessments as needed, and close collaboration with on-call doctors. You document in the medical record system and ensure clear handover to the day staff. Together with a smaller night team, you support each other and create a structured and safe care environment for the patients. You will rotate among the three departments within adult psychiatry.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position, night shift. Working hours 21:30-07:30. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
