We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a trained orthoptist. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage but not a requirement.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible, independent, and structured.

What you will work with

As an orthoptist, you will examine, diagnose, and treat vision and binocular vision problems primarily in children but also in adults. The work also includes examination and assessment prior to strabismus surgery as well as postoperative measurements. The work is independent, but there is collaboration with colleagues and pediatric ophthalmologists. In the job, you will also teach residents, BVC nurses, and school nurses. Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime working hours. Start date according to agreement.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
