JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the job as a care assistant with us in the summer entail?

As a care assistant in Safe Homecoming and Intensive Home Rehabilitation, you work closely with people who are in an important and sometimes vulnerable phase of life when they have just returned home from the hospital or are recovering from illness. Your support makes a big difference every day.

You can for example:

• Provide individualized care at home
• Support the client in regaining functions and independence
• Work motivating and rehabilitating based on set goals
• Perform delegated health and medical care tasks
• Document according to current routines
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and colleagues

The work takes place in the clients' own homes throughout the municipality, which gives you both variation, responsibility, and close encounters with people.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant with a protected professional title or has equivalent competence through experience
• Masters Swedish in speech and writing
• Is used to documenting digitally via computer and phone
• Has a B driver's license (you will drive the municipality's cars in service)
• Can cycle and walk shorter distances in the local area
• Feels comfortable meeting people in vulnerable situations
• Can work independently in clients' homes, even for longer periods
• Is flexible, calm, and secure in changing situations

Work shifts occur every day of the week between 07:00 - 22:00.
