Baker/Pastry Chef at Coop Bakery
Do you have a genuine interest in baking bread and love your craft? Do you enjoy sales and are passionate about making great deals? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
Our customers should not only be greeted with good products at good prices, but we also want them to experience culinary inspiration, interesting events, surprises, and world-class service every day.
Our store bakery is very popular and, together with our other fresh products, forms the heart of the store. We bake bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts completely from scratch, and we see that you, like us, feel a great dignity in that. As a baker/pastry chef, you have a significant responsibility to work with your colleagues to create a vibrant store that constantly exceeds our customers' expectations. Every customer should feel unique through your sense of service and creativity. We have high ceilings and are always trying to develop ourselves to become better, both in our processes and our product range. Therefore, we are looking for a driven employee with a high energy level who can help us, together with colleagues, continue to develop our store bakery.
As a baker/pastry chef, you should be able to offer our customers a fresh and inviting department every day of the week. Your tasks include everything from bread production to working with the store's catering operations, baking cakes, and making pastry items. It is important that you have a sense for trends and news to continuously maximize sales in combination with our customers' unique wishes. We see that you have training or equivalent experience in the profession, and previous experience working with fresh products in a store is highly meritorious.
The position is a permanent employment of 30 hours/week. The start date is immediate or by agreement. Applications are processed continuously during the recruitment period, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period. Working hours vary and include both weekdays and weekends.

The new Coop will stand for attractive store experiences with affordable food, strong private labels, a unique membership program, and clear leadership in ecology, health, and sustainability. In short: We want to be the positive force in Swedish grocery retail.
With about 650 stores in Sweden and 3.4 million members, Coop is Sweden's only member-owned grocery chain.
