RESPONSIBILITIES

As a construction worker, you will work with the construction, operation, and maintenance of the municipality's infrastructure. The tasks vary depending on the season and projects, but may include:

• Construction and maintenance of roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths
• Earthworks for new construction and renovation
• Paving, laying slabs, and curb work
• Drainage and simpler water and sewage work
• Snow removal, sanding, and other winter tasks
• Collaboration with machine operators and contractors
• On-call duty

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education or experience in construction work, such as from a construction and civil engineering program or work in the field. Experience reading blueprints, working with lasers, or operating machinery is a significant plus.

You are accustomed to using digital tools in your work, for example, to report, follow work orders, or search for information.

We place great importance on personal qualities. You are collaborative, responsible, and meticulous. You enjoy working in a team but can also take your own initiatives and make decisions when necessary. You plan and structure your work well while being flexible and solution-oriented when conditions change on the job site.

Requirements:

• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Driver's license C
• Machine operator certificate
• Experience in water and sewage, earth, or road work
