Our vision is to make it financially easier for people to own a car, boat, home, tools, and leisure items of high quality, thereby creating a richer leisure time for everyone. Biltema currently has a total of 172 stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, of which 64 are located in Sweden. Biltema is a strong brand in an exciting expansion, planning to open around 50 new stores in the Nordic countries in the coming years.

What to Expect from the Position

As a Deputy Store Manager, you are the extended arm of the Store Manager. You have personnel responsibility for the store's employees and are overall responsible for daily operations. You coach and lead employees through your presence in the store, ensuring that all customers receive optimal service and leave Biltema with a positive experience. Through engaging and inspiring leadership, you develop Department Managers and other employees. You monitor sales and come up with creative ideas to showcase our extensive range of products.

You are well-versed in the store's operations and have ultimate responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is not present. This includes having the ultimate responsibility for the work environment and ensuring, together with other employees, that you have a safe working environment. You are involved in planning and creating schedules based on activities and events. You are happy to share your expertise and act as a sounding board for both the Store Manager and other employees.

As a Deputy Store Manager, you will be part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager.

What We Expect from You

We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and has a high level of service awareness. As a person, you have the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire staff through your pedagogical communication and leadership style. You easily create a good atmosphere and always ensure that your employees are ready to perform at their best. By seeing the entire sales cycle from planning and receiving goods to marketing and sales, you always strive to be solution-oriented and creative in situations that may arise.

We expect you to have at least 2-3 years of experience in similar positions within retail. This means you feel confident in your leadership and are comfortable with the agreements and regulations that apply to retail.
