JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant and have a genuine commitment to working with the elderly. As a care assistant in a nursing home, you will have a meaningful job where you not only make a difference in the daily lives of our residents but also contribute to structure and security for both them and your colleagues. We seek those who share our view that care is done with heart and who also want to contribute to effective teamwork by following routines and agreed working methods.

As a care assistant at Liljegården nursing home, you have a central role in the lives of our residents. Your tasks vary based on each individual's needs but may include:

• Personal care - assistance with hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Social support - providing security, companionship, and joy in everyday life.
• Practical tasks - such as shopping, cleaning, and laundry.
• Documentation - accurately document according to decisions and implementation plans.
• Interaction - providing a good reception and creating security by using an adapted approach depending on the person you meet.
• Contact person - acting as a contact person for some residents and providing extra support in daily life.
• Performing medical tasks - according to delegation from the nurse.
• Collaboration - with colleagues and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Positive and developing work environment - you contribute to your and your colleagues' good work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written, is required to communicate with customers, colleagues, and to handle documentation and reporting.
• Experience in elderly care, nursing homes, or similar care environments.
• You need to be able to receive delegated tasks from the responsible nurse.
• Good computer skills and navigation in various digital systems.
• Good documentation skills.
• Good skills in meeting customers and their relatives.
• You are calm, stable, and controlled in pressured or challenging situations. You maintain a balanced perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
• You see the whole picture and take into account the larger perspective. You understand your role but consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions.
• You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve cooperation difficulties or conflicts constructively.
• You are service-oriented with an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You are attentive and accommodating in your interactions and strive to deliver solutions.
• You easily adapt to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly adjust your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires.
• You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You distinguish between the personal and professional and act in a manner appropriate to the situation.
• You have good communication skills and adapt to the situation.
