2 Full-time Cleaners

About the position

As a cleaner with us, you will clean the parish's offices, churches, funeral homes, parish halls, and kitchens. Here you will be part of a team that values joy at work and a good community.

About you

You will meet both employees and visitors in your work, so you need to speak, read, and understand Swedish. You are meticulous, independent, and flexible. You have the physical ability required to work physically for most of the work shift. You will collaborate and communicate with other staff but will be responsible for your own planning and work areas. It is required that you do not have any form of allergy that affects the performance of the work. We are looking for someone who:

• has 3-5 years of experience in cleaning, preferably with experience in cleaning churches
• is computer literate since you will plan your work based on our booking system
• has a B driver's license (manual transmission) and access to a personal vehicle

We assume that you are a member of the Church of Sweden.

About the Church of Sweden, Kungälv-Ytterby

Kungälv-Ytterby Parish consists of the central parts of Kungälv Municipality just north of Gothenburg. Within the parish, there are approximately 27,000 residents, and over 15,000 are church members. The parish has about 45 employees, and the work is carried out around four district churches with different expressions and at the Hospital Church. Kungälv-Ytterby Parish is also responsible for the funeral services. As an employee of the Church of Sweden, you are part of an important community function.

About the employment

Start date according to agreement and a probationary period will be applied.

Scheduled weekend work is included.

The parish has a total of 3 full-time cleaners.
