Welcome to Älvsjö Midwifery Clinic!

Älvsjö Midwifery Clinic is now looking for two future colleagues due to retirement.

At the clinic, there are 6 midwives including the unit manager. We work from a holistic perspective on the individual, and our focus is to create security for our patients and their relatives through high availability, participation, and continuity. You always have a colleague to consult with, and we have working methods that promote good quality and high safety for both patients and employees. The clinic is centrally located in Älvsjö, easily accessible by commuter train, bus, or car. We are located at Solberga Hagväg 5.

We are looking for someone who, like us, is curious, engaged, responsible, secure in their role, and has a good ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great importance on personal suitability and strive for long-term employment.

The work as a midwife is varied. We work with pregnancy, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, gynecological cell sampling, telephone counseling, and various types of parenting support. We have both physical visits and video meetings.

Organizationally, we belong to BMM Stockholm Södra, which is a midwife-led results unit within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO) consisting of 14 midwifery clinics. Employment form:

Permanent employment. Part-time 75% (two positions). Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience working with the Obstetrix and Takecare journal systems is preferred. Previous work at a midwifery clinic is an advantage.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional license. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
