Our client loves logistics and currently covers the entire world with transport via air, sea, truck, and train. They offer their customers a complete logistics solution with warehousing and information services. Today, our client has 3,500 employees distributed across the country. They are now looking for a transport administrator for their warehouse in Torsvik. Do you have what it takes to become part of their team? Read on for more information about the position!

As a transport administrator, you will be an important part of the team and will have a varied role with both operational and leading elements. The position always starts with operational work where you are out working in production. Your tasks include:

  • Receiving notifications and purchase orders and carrying out preparatory intake
  • Order monitoring, transport booking, and notifying customers
  • Managing transport deviations and performing tracking and troubleshooting of goods
  • Handling customs and hazardous goods administration
  • Actively participating in production, for example with forklift driving, picking and packing, and registration with handheld devices

The position is full-time, and working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, between 08:15 AM and 05:00 PM. The position is expected to start in the summer of 2026 and will begin with an introduction at the client. We prefer that you are available for work during the holiday period.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will work at our client’s site. We view this assignment long-term, and there are good opportunities for development.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is good at following work routines, regulations, and safety guidelines. You have the ability to communicate and inform clearly and professionally, both internally and externally, to customers and suppliers. You are skilled at handling administrative tasks and find it easy to keep track of both short-term and long-term tasks. Furthermore, you enjoy variety in your work and are comfortable combining administrative tasks with practical elements, such as picking and incoming deliveries in production. We prefer that you enjoy social settings and have a humble approach while being self-driven and taking responsibility for your tasks.

Requirements for the position are proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Previous experience in warehouse work and forklift driving is advantageous. Our client also values prior knowledge of systems such as SAP, IMI, and the Office suite, as well as experience in customs handling and invoicing.
