Production Staff for Company in Västerås

Our client:

Is a Nordic supplier of carbon products, alloys, and briquettes primarily for the foundry and steel industry, as well as other metallurgical industries. They tailor their products to meet specific customer needs and focus on making the metallurgical industry more sustainable and competitive.

Job Responsibilities

• Loading / Unloading
• Production / processing and customization of materials into finished products. (Crushing, sieving, and drying)
• Machine operation – Forklift / Wheel Loader

You will receive a good introduction to the job and will shadow the current employees in this position to gradually take over and become fully independent. It is a physical job with sometimes tight spaces, high noise levels, and dusty environments.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Experience in industry, production, or logistics
• Driving license B
• Forklift license B - Counterbalance Forklift
• Swedish
• Wheel loader and overhead crane licenses are advantageous

Shift work (usually you operate the same station/shift but rotation per station otherwise)

– Mornings 6 AM - 2 PM Monday to Thursday, Fridays 6 AM - 4 PM.

– Afternoons 2 PM - 10 PM Monday to Thursday, off on Fridays. Alternating weeks shift.
