Are you interested in a temporary position as a junior doctor with us at the Medical Clinic and Emergency Department in Sollefteå? We are looking for you who want to develop your experience with us, where you have the opportunity to manage patients with varying diagnoses and needs. We offer good conditions for professional development through independent work under supervision. We are a smaller unit with proximity and short decision-making paths. There are good development opportunities, and we offer a position with the possibility to participate in the development of the operations.

Within Region Västernorrland, there are three local healthcare areas; south, west, and north, where local collaboration occurs within/between municipalities, primary care, and specialist care. Together, we work to create a cohesive care chain for the growing patient groups of chronic and multi-sick patients.

The Western local healthcare area has a hospital, five region-operated health centers, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. The area includes two municipalities. The Western local healthcare area has about 300 employees and four department heads.

In Sollefteå, there is a wide range of recreational activities. We can offer everything from skiing in winter to rafting on the beautiful Ångerman River in summer.

The position is a full-time temporary position for 6 months with a possible extension, starting as soon as possible.

Junior doctor without license for the Medical Unit Medicine, Sollefteå Job Responsibilities

We offer you a varied and stimulating job as a junior doctor with a focus on good interaction with patients and relatives. The role of a junior doctor involves standard duties as a junior doctor and the opportunity to serve as a primary on-call doctor during the day. The work is independent but with supervision from experienced colleagues. The position as a junior doctor is a great opportunity for you who want to grow and develop in your medical role; we offer a good working environment with competent and positive colleagues with good knowledge and experience.
