We operate a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives, from newborns, children and adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life. We are a forward-looking health center focused on development and work environment.

We are over 60 employees who together strive to change and improve our working methods for the benefit of our patients. Our operations consist of a medical clinic, special elderly care homes, home health care, child health care, maternal health care, psychosocial team, occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator, physiotherapists, district nurse clinic, and nurse-led clinics. We have our own laboratory and medical administrators in the same premises. The health center is located in central Luleå and we have a list of 15,500 citizens.

We are looking for

You are a specialist in general medicine. You have Swedish medical licensure and very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form at least at C1 level as you work in constant dialogue with colleagues, patients, relatives, and other organizations.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills together with physician colleagues and other professional categories. You have a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, are flexible, and take responsibility for contributing to a good atmosphere in the workplace. As a person, you are self-assured, structured, and can organize and plan your work. You take great responsibility for your tasks and care about ongoing development and quality work. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

What you will work with

We are looking for you who are a general specialist and we can offer you a variety of tasks. Would you like to have your own patient list? Would you like to work with our special elderly care homes and home health care, or a combination? In the area of the health center, there are six care and nursing homes, one of which with 84 places is focused on dementia care, and one with 144 places has a department for severely somatically ill patients as well as four short-term departments.

Are you interested in driving medical development in the form of medical management responsibility? Are you interested in supervision? Working as a consultant for our nurse-led clinics.
The health center has four ST doctors employed and has received very good ratings in the latest SPUR inspection.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position during daytime hours. The health center's doctors participate in primary and on-call duties during on-call hours. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
