Apply for a developing position as an occupational therapist at Adult Rehabilitation in Dalarna!
The rehabilitation service in Region Dalarna is a county-wide specialist resource with clinics in five locations. Our mission is to offer individuals with congenital or early-acquired disabilities comprehensive specialist interventions, aiming to enhance functional ability and contribute to the best possible quality of life.
Are you an occupational therapist interested in working with patients who have various types of disabilities, often of a more extensive nature? At the rehabilitation service, you are offered a meaningful and varied assignment with the opportunity for long-term patient contacts.
As an occupational therapist with us, you will follow many patients over time, which provides the conditions to build good relationships and work systematically with planning, follow-up, and tailored interventions. You will work closely with other professional groups within the team, but also have significant personal responsibility in your daily work.
A colleague describes the work as follows:
"I think we have exciting and complex cases. There is room for creativity in the assignments, especially in working with adults. I feel that I have a great personal responsibility for my interventions and care planning, which I appreciate. I receive trust from both colleagues and managers that I do my job well."

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have a central role in the patient's daily life. Your tasks are both versatile and developing - you prescribe assistive devices, follow up on interventions, conduct functional assessments, and work preventively and therapeutically with individualized measures. You will also write certificates, for example, for personal assistance, and have the opportunity to lead groups and training based on patients' needs and wishes. We encourage participation in the development of our working methods - both digitally and practically - and actively collaborate with other healthcare providers, especially municipal services.

As a new employee, you will receive both a mentor and a supervisor within the profession. Additionally, we have joint professional teams every week where we support and learn from each other.
