About the position

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the daily operational planning of transports. You will ensure that resources are used efficiently, that capacity matches needs, and that operations run smoothly in an environment where conditions can change rapidly. The role involves continuously making capacity assessments, planning vehicles, and adjusting arrangements when circumstances change. Unexpected events are a natural part of everyday life, which requires you to quickly analyze the situation, reprioritize, and find sustainable solutions.

This is a new role in the organization, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape how the position develops over time. There are good opportunities to drive improvements, develop work methods, and create efficient processes that strengthen the business in the long term.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operational planning and coordination of transports
• Capacity and resource optimization
• Coordination and dialogue with external and internal stakeholders
• Replanning and optimization in the event of changing conditions
• Administrative handling and compilation of invoice documentation
• Ongoing follow-up and documentation

Employment type

The position is a full-time assignment that begins as a consultancy position via StudentConsulting. For the right person, there is a clear ambition from Ragn-Sells to subsequently offer a direct employment contract with them. This is a long-term investment where you will have the opportunity to grow with the role and become an important part of the business.

• Working hours are during office hours.
• Start date is according to agreement.
• Location is at Ragn-Sells office in Gothenburg.
• There is an opportunity for some hybrid work based on the needs of the business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of the agricultural industry and/or experience with heavy transport in complex environments
• Understands flows, logistics, and the practical consequences of placement decisions
• Has good administrative skills
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
