We at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry currently offer a training position that means you, as a nurse, will study a specialist education to become a psychiatric nurse. During the training period, you will be employed by the clinic where you will work once the specialist training is completed.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and interested in deepening your knowledge and developing in your professional role. It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience working as a nurse.

As a person, you are empathetic, secure, and attentive – you have the ability to meet children and young people in difficult situations with empathy, good treatment, and professionalism. A training position can only occur once you have been accepted into the training program.

The specialized child and adolescent psychiatry in Kalmar County conducts outpatient operations in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, and Västervik. There is also an acute department and an eating disorder unit with clinics in Kalmar and Västervik that belong to the clinic.
