Are you an engaged and skilled dental nurse looking to be part of an inclusive and diverse workplace? Østfold County Municipality is now seeking a dental nurse for the Sarpsborg Dental Clinic.

The dental care in Østfold includes the following clinics: Askim, Fredrikstad, Halden, Moss, Mysen, and Sarpsborg. The goal of our services is to make dental care accessible to everyone living or staying in the county. We work to promote health and prevent health disparities. To achieve our goals, dental care relies on good collaboration with other actors in health, care, and the youth sector.

The Sarpsborg Dental Clinic consists of three departments: Sarpsborg, Tune, and Skjeberg. The clinics are modern, and you will have 25 colleagues.

Start date: By agreement.

About the Role

As a dental nurse at the Sarpsborg Dental Clinic, you play a vital role in ensuring good dental health for the residents of the region. You will work in a dynamic environment that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development. We strive to provide high-quality services and place great emphasis on patient involvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Varied tasks related to the treatment of all types of patients within statutory groups
• Adult paying patients
• Administrative tasks
• Important resource in the clinic's infection control work
• Contribute to the supervision and practical training of dental care staff/students
• Other tasks may occur

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a dental nurse
• Relevant clinical experience
• Good knowledge of the dental care's societal mission
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
