We are currently seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position at Meliva Health Center Fredriksdal starting 1/3 until summer, where you will have the chance to grow in your role and contribute to sustainable and meaningful primary care.

About the Position

As a licensed physician at Meliva Health Center Fredriksdal, you will be an important part of our medical team. You will primarily work with outpatient care, meeting patients of various ages and health needs – both for scheduled and urgent visits. Digital video consultations and some home healthcare may also be included.

You will collaborate professionally with other professionals at the clinic and have good opportunities to contribute to organizational development, quality assurance, and improvement work. Our work environment is characterized by collegial support, short decision-making paths, and a shared desire to deliver care with quality and compassion.

You will be offered supervision by a general practitioner during your time with us.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assessments, treatments, and follow-ups within the broad scope of primary care
• Medical investigations and diagnosis of both acute and chronic conditions
• Coordination of the patient's care needs in collaboration with other professionals
• Digital patient meetings via chat or video
• Prescription renewals, certificates, and referrals
• Active participation in teamwork, improvement work, and collegial knowledge sharing

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Is a licensed physician
• Preferably has experience in primary care (meriting, not required)
• Works in a structured manner, is flexible and solution-oriented
• Thrives in teamwork and has a professional, empathetic approach
• Wants to contribute to a good work environment and participate in the development of healthcare
• Has good communication skills and a responsive attitude towards patients and colleagues
• Has good administrative skills – we use the Webdoc journal system
