Operations Manager at ISS Cleaning in Växjö

ISS is one of the world's largest service companies and this year we are celebrating 80 years in Sweden! With over 6500 employees in the country, from north to south, we deliver services that make a difference. We offer our customers everything from cleaning to technical services, food and workplace services. We create workplaces where people thrive, companies grow, and where sustainability is a given – socially, environmentally, and commercially. Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for our customers to feel secure, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.

For our operations in Växjö, we are looking for a service-oriented and committed Operations Manager at ISS Cleaning who wants to develop people and our customers' businesses. We offer you a challenging role in a company and industry that is constantly evolving!

About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will have financial responsibility and personnel responsibility for your operational area. Our delivery includes a wide range of ISS service offerings within cleaning, reception, and janitorial services.

In the role of Operations Manager, you will also be responsible for local customer relationships and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with applicable customer agreements. In collaboration with the customer, you strive for continuous improvements and development of ISS delivery. Here you have great opportunities to elevate the delivery from being good to becoming one of ISS's best!

For us at ISS, leadership is important. Through your good leadership, you are expected to create conditions for your employees to develop and perform. As an Operations Manager, you have direct responsibility for approximately 32 employees. You lead the operations towards set goals in close collaboration with the customer, employees, and your immediate manager.

You are responsible for ensuring that the operations are optimally sized and staffed. Furthermore, you are not afraid to step into daily operations to support your employees when needed. Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with laws and other agreements as well as ISS policies and values is a given for you.

Your base is in Växjö, and you will be part of the regional management team together with the regional manager and 8 other operations managers. The position is full-time and permanent with a start date according to agreement.

We Offer

You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will gain a lot, as we care about helping and developing each other. ISS's size and broad service offerings contribute to good development opportunities both nationally and globally. Our focus is on taking care of and developing our employees, as we believe that “People make places.” ISS offers training and development opportunities – all to engage you and help you grow with ISS in the long term.

We highly value diversity and inclusion. At ISS, all people are equally valuable and have the same rights and opportunities. Our employees reflect the diversity of society, which is both a competitive advantage and an asset in our long-term sustainable work. Our inclusive corporate culture strengthens our employees, makes us more creative and productive, and creates a more attractive workplace.

ISS values, which are fundamental to how we work, are quality, responsibility, honesty, entrepreneurship, and community. Therefore, it is important that you feel that you stand for a working method and an approach that is in line with these.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a driven and communicative leader with the ability to motivate your surroundings to deliver results that exceed set goals. To succeed in the role, you need to have the will and ability to create new business. You are self-driven and motivated by constantly further developing and structuring existing operations, while valuing efficient processes, high quality, and customer satisfaction. Above all, you also share our passion for delivering service to ISS customers!

As the work involves many personal contacts both within and outside the organization, good collaboration skills and an interest in people are required. You also have a good ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships.

You have a high school education and experience in leadership, finance, personnel, and customer relations. You preferably have experience from a labor-intensive service industry and communicate very well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as well as speaking English well. You also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used IT environments. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Previous experience in cleaning and Facility Management is an advantage.

Your Application

We hope we have piqued your interest! We look forward to your application, no later than March 1. In your application, please attach your CV and a cover letter. Please note! We do not accept applications via e-mail or letter, only through registration in our recruitment system. Applications via e-mail or letter will be discarded unprocessed.

The recruitment process includes interviews and references. Background checks and security clearances may be conducted as needed by the customer. For any questions about the process, please contact Regional Manager Michael Öhman at [email protected] or phone 073-436 55 22.

Warm welcome with your application!
