RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Care Administration, we are about 2,200 colleagues working to provide the best possible care, support, and treatment for elderly people, people with disabilities, and those needing home healthcare.

To succeed, we need competent and dedicated employees who enjoy working with people and are driven to develop the operations.

In the Assistive Technology Department, we currently have 10 employees and are part of Kommunrehab, which is a department with about 80 employees. You will meet customers, suppliers, and assistive technology prescribers daily, collaborating with them. We offer a varied and enjoyable job where your role is significant for the residents of Växjö Municipality.

You will work with repair, refurbishment, inspection, service, and maintenance of assistive devices.

We provide both simple solutions and make custom adaptations to meet the user's needs. You will work both independently and in a team. Working with internal quality and development issues is a natural part of everyday life.

As an assistive technology technician, you will focus on a well-functioning management of assistive devices for our users. The days are fast-paced and the tasks are varied, requiring precision and efficiency. The focus is on the users, and to achieve good delivery, time must be used effectively, and any problems that arise must be solved.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an assistive technology technician with experience in repair, inspection, service, and maintenance. Previous experience in similar tasks within assistive technology management is an advantage.

You have a suitable high school education or training/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You show great commitment, are structured, and keep good order. You should be clear and communicate well, be flexible, and have good teamwork skills but also be able to work independently.

You should be able to take your own initiatives, be loyal to your employer, and be able to make decisions in your role. You should be accustomed to using a computer as your working tool. We place great importance on your willingness to work with development; you will contribute with the desire to improve quality, safety, and work environment. Experience with the assistive technology system Sesam is an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have basic knowledge of the English language.

We work daytime with flexibility as needed, and we are based in new and modern premises at Mejselgatan 4 in Växjö. We are a friendly group that sees each other's differences as an asset.
