Store Employee Wanted at Coop Sävsjö

We are now seeking a new employee for our store Coop Sävsjö. Customers in our store should not only be greeted with good products at good prices, but we also want them to experience culinary inspiration, interesting events, surprises, and, not least, receive excellent personal service from all our staff every day. As a person, you are creative and are happy to come up with suggestions and ideas, and you find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and improve both the business and yourself.

You will primarily work in our manual deli and delicatessen counters and at the checkout, but there may also be other common store tasks, such as:

• Restocking shelves and facing products
• Working with inventory and waste
• Conducting self-checks
• Keeping the store clean and tidy

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You find it easy to build long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working physically. Working in a store offers you a varied job in a sometimes fast-paced environment, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in deli and delicatessen is highly meritorious. Previous checkout experience from grocery retail is also very valuable, but personal suitability is at least as important to us at Coop.

The position is a 6-month temporary contract for 30 hours/week. Immediate start is desired but will be according to agreement. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working hours vary but are mostly scheduled for evenings. We apply a probationary period.

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• Must be at least 18 years old to work independently at the checkout
• Experience from a cold kitchen and/or kitchen is highly meritorious
• Experience from deli and/or delicatessen is meritorious
• Previous checkout experience is meritorious
• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions is meritorious
