About the Project Manager role in Procurement

In the role of Project Manager in Procurement at Purch, you will work with project management, data-driven analysis, change management, and negotiations. All within the framework of strategic procurement in healthcare, focusing on private actors. Together with your team, you will work with clients both on a project basis and projects where you will take overall responsibility for several of the client's procurement functions.

In this role, project management and change management are two important cornerstones, which means that you as a person are proactive and independent in your approach. Purch works data-driven, where you actively analyze procurement data in Excel, conduct analyses, and base your arguments in both negotiations and dialogues with clients during their change journey. The role entails varied workdays with a particular focus on both competence and business development for Purch's clients.

Many Project Managers at Purch, in addition to external assignments, also have an internal area of responsibility. Currently, there is an opportunity to take on the roles of Membership Manager and Fleet Manager.

As a Membership Manager, you have overall responsibility for Purch's member clients and ensure that they receive maximum value from their membership and Purch's procurement agreements. You support new members in the startup phase, educate and guide the organization on how the agreements are used, and build strong and long-term relationships with both decision-makers and operational users. The role combines client dialogue, consulting, and analysis where you follow up on procurement data, measure contract compliance, and identify development opportunities. With a proactive approach, you catch deviations, initiate actions, and drive improvements that strengthen both the client's business and Purch's offerings.

In the role of Fleet Manager, you work closely with Purch's team at a larger client. You have overall responsibility for the client's fleet (approximately 200 vehicles), including company and operational cars, ensuring effective agreements, structure, and cost control. Simultaneously, you are responsible for the client's procurement-related service desk – a central function where you handle incoming inquiries, provide quick and professional support, and coordinate matters to the appropriate category managers. This role suits you if you enjoy being the spider in the web, working solution-oriented, and creating a high level of service in combination with operational procurement work.
