Your Role

As an electrician at Saab Muskö, you will work with new installations and maintenance of various electrical systems on marine platforms. The vessels vary in complexity and age, making the work diverse and contributing to a wide range of tasks.

Examples of Work Areas

• Lighting
• Sensors
• Motors
• Generators
• Batteries and chargers

You will also work with troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, improvement work, and administrative tasks.

The job requires you to master technical English in both spoken and written form. Domestic travel may occur.

Your Profile

To apply for the role, you have:

• Secondary education in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Several years of work experience in the field
• Practical experience in troubleshooting electrical systems, both at the component and system level
• Driver's license B

It is advantageous if you have experience in other areas such as electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics.

We are looking for someone with a solid interest in electricity and electronics. We prefer you to be a problem solver who comes up with creative solutions and takes initiative. As a person, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and enjoy working in a structured manner.

Individuals with shorter work experience may also be considered for the role, as personal qualities such as teamwork ability, strong drive, and a positive attitude are highly valued. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may entail requirements for specific citizenship.
