Jaco develops and manufactures customized technical houses and modular buildings for the installation of technical orientation in electrical engineering, automation, and control systems. The modular buildings are delivered fully installed and routinely tested. At the office and production in Hargshamn, over 75 dedicated and experienced employees work to ensure that products and solutions maintain high and consistent quality before delivery from the factory.

Job responsibilities

As a tester within electrical installation at Jaco, you play a key role in ensuring quality and electrical safety. You are responsible for checking and testing electrical installations according to the company's procedures and documenting the results in test protocols, which are used to approve facilities and products. In your role, you closely collaborate with group leaders, section leaders, and project managers to ensure that customer requirements and project goals are met. The tests include various electrical measurements and adjustments to verify that the installations function flawlessly.

In addition to testing, you actively contribute to developing and improving routines for self-checks, testing, and regulatory compliance. This involves a strong focus on meticulous document management and deviation handling, where correct, traceable, and audit-proof documentation is crucial. Finally, you are also responsible for the maintenance, care, and calibration of testing equipment to ensure reliable results. You also contribute to the repair and maintenance of Jaco's fixed electrical installations in the factory.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed education in electrical engineering at least at the high school level and with authorization B. Authorization in AL or A is an advantage.

• Many years of experience in electrical work. Experience in control or testing of electrical installations is an advantage.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

• Good data and system skills.
