PolyPlank works with composite materials and produces products designed to last for many years. We are now developing production with new modern machines, robotics, and a continuous evolution of automation and smarter process flows. To continue growing, we are looking for an experienced machine operator who values quality, speed, and is accustomed to solving problems.

In addition to building materials, we deliver complete building systems, such as screening, noise barriers, and other segmented solutions. This position will also be responsible for our building systems, assembling sections/modules for delivery, ensuring fit and finish, performing quality checks, and packing and preparing for shipment.

About the role

You will be a key person in production and work closely with both production and maintenance. The role is about achieving stable quality, high operational reliability, and good flow.

Examples of tasks

• Operate and monitor production in extrusion/injection molding/material handling
• Set, optimize, and document process parameters
• Quality checks, measurement, and deviation management
• Troubleshooting during stoppages
• Changeovers, startups, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Participate in improvement work to reduce stoppages and cycle times
• Collaborate on automation and robotic solutions to enhance production efficiency

We are looking for someone who

is a responsible person who wants to excel in their line of work.

Requirements

• Experience as a machine/process operator in industrial production
• Accustomed to working with quality and measurement and stopping when necessary
• Good technical understanding and ability to troubleshoot systematically
• Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in extrusion, injection molding, or other plastic/composite processes
• Material knowledge (regrind, fillers, masterbatch, moisture/variations, etc.)
• Understanding of automation/HMI/PLC alarms (programming skills are not required)
• Basic experience in operating/monitoring industrial robots, e.g., start/stop, reference/teach, basic troubleshooting, and understanding of robot cell safety is highly meritorious
