Occupational Therapist at Luleå Municipality

We are excited that you are interested in the position of occupational therapist with us! We are currently looking for staff who are interested in working with us this summer. Together with a group of wonderful colleagues, you will contribute to creating value and quality of life for users and patients within home healthcare. No day is the same with us, and we are constantly evolving. We work to improve our methods and utilize new technology to create a good everyday life for the patients who need our support and help. Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include making assessments and prescribing interventions based on the conditions and needs of users and patients. The purpose of these interventions is to enable activity and participation through advice, support, training, treatment, environmental adjustments, and prescribing assistive devices. A significant part of the role involves guiding, educating, and informing staff and relatives about the interventions. Follow-up, evaluation, and documentation of implemented interventions are also part of the job. Working hours are scheduled during the day between 07:30 and 16:15, with the possibility of flexible hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest and commitment to working with people of various ages and with different disabilities who need help and support in their daily lives.

You should be a licensed occupational therapist, or alternatively, graduated and awaiting licensure. A B driver's license is required. Experience in rehabilitation and assistive device assessment in private homes and/or special housing is an advantage. As a person, you should be structured, collaborative, and relationship-building. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and being the right person for the role. Start date is according to agreement.
