About the Position

We are looking for an assembler for oil refineries to work with cable installation, cross-connection, and troubleshooting. The role includes practical workshop work where you perform installation, maintenance, and repairs according to applicable safety procedures and customer specifications. The work is done in teams but also requires the ability to work independently with personal responsibility for quality and safety.

Your Responsibilities

• Assembly and installation of cable and electrical systems in a refinery environment.

• Cross-connection and connection of cables in distribution cabinets and control systems.

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical faults and implementation of measures for commissioning.

• Perform workshop work and preventive maintenance according to procedures.

• Documentation of completed work and reporting to the supervisor.

• Follow safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment in an industrial setting.

You take responsibility for your work, plan and execute tasks with precision, and show initiative to improve processes and work methods. Good collaboration and communication skills are valued, while you can also work independently under time pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in cable work, cross-connection, and troubleshooting.

• Practical experience in workshop work and industrial installation.

• Technical knowledge and ability to read schematics and drawings.

• Ability to follow safety regulations for work in a refinery environment.

• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the oil or process industry, relevant electrical education or certification, and a B driver's license.

Employment and Working Conditions

Employment is through Jovi consultant, and the assignment is located with a customer in the refinery industry. Working hours are mainly daytime with the possibility of shifts or overtime depending on the customer's needs. For the right person, there are good opportunities for extension or permanent employment with the customer.
