Do you want to work as a nurse in municipal health and medical care? We are now looking for a licensed nurse for a longer temporary position within Home Healthcare, as one of our employees will be on parental leave. The temporary position is 100%. Start date according to agreement and extends until autumn 2027.

Timrå municipality has a well-developed teamwork with nursing staff, planners, rehabilitation, unit managers, and case managers. Together, we work for close care based on the patient's needs and circumstances.

You will work according to a schedule with duties approximately every 6th weekend and a few evenings per month. On evenings and weekends, there are two nurses/district nurses on duty each shift. During on-call hours, the entire municipality is your workplace, i.e., both care and nursing homes, home healthcare, and patients connected to Palliative medicine if the need for a nurse arises.

Responsibilities

The work as a nurse within home healthcare means that you independently assess, plan, organize, and perform medical treatment and nursing interventions. You collaborate in teams both internally and externally to meet the individual’s nursing needs. As a nurse with us, you are responsible for guiding and delegating nursing staff as well as providing advice and support to other professionals in the team around the patient.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse.

You should feel confident working independently and guiding others. You have a holistic view in your work with people and are positive, attentive, and empathetic. You are a solution-focused person who is used to prioritizing your tasks. You have a good approach, contribute to a good working environment, and find it easy to collaborate.

Previous experience in municipal home healthcare and/or district nurse education is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
