About the workplace

Position: Automation Electrician for Water and Sewage

Reference number: 20260205 Location: Orust municipality

The Water and Sewage Operations in Orust municipality are undergoing strong development, and we are now looking for an automation electrician to join our Water and Sewage department. We currently have a water treatment plant, 4 wastewater treatment plants, and over 100 pumping stations as well as water towers and pressure boosting stations.

You will work within our Water and Sewage organization, which consists of about 20 people divided into unit managers, operations engineers, operations technicians, water and sewage repairers, construction workers, team leaders, and managers.

We are currently in the final phase of the new and renovation of our largest wastewater treatment plant in Ellös, which will have a capacity for 20,000 population equivalents. In connection with this, several smaller plants will be phased out, while some will remain during a transition period. A new water treatment plant is also in the starting phase.

The Water and Sewage organization is part of the municipality's community development department.

The organization currently consists of:

• Unit Manager
• Team-leading Operations Engineer for Water
• Five Operations Technicians in Wastewater Operations
• One Operations Technician in Water Operations

Your tasks

You will independently, as well as under the guidance of the unit manager and team leader, work with service, maintenance, installation work, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical installations and automation equipment within the municipality's water and sewage facilities.

Service and installation at the municipality's other facilities may also be included.

Great emphasis is placed on customer contact, accuracy, and documentation of completed work.

Participate and collaborate in projects with external suppliers as well as other staff within the community development management area.

Drive smaller renovation projects.

About you

At least 3 years of experience in electrical installations with a focus on automation. Experience in water and sewage is an advantage.

General authorization is an advantage.

Good experience in service troubleshooting and some PLC programming.

Good computer skills and knowledge of Office.

CAD knowledge is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
