Seasonal Job – Reception & Shop at Ulricehamn Golf Club

About the position

As a seasonal employee in the reception and shop, you are an important part of the club's outward face. You meet members and guests, assist with bookings, sell products in the shop, contribute to the enjoyment of our golf facility, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

The work is varied and involves both service, practical tasks, and administrative support to the club management.

Your responsibilities

Welcome and greet members and guests.

Manage bookings in GIT (Golf IT system).

Handle administrative tasks regarding members/membership and competitions, etc.

Sales of green fees, range balls, golf lessons, gift cards, and rental of golf carts.

Sales and display of golf equipment, clothing, and accessories in the shop.

Provide service and answer questions about the club's operations.

Contribute to order and enjoyment in the reception and shop.

Manage golf carts and ball collection.

Ensure that the indoor & outdoor environment maintains a high standard before and during play days.

Respond to incoming inquiries via phone and email.

We are looking for someone who

Has a genuine interest in good service and wants to deliver experiences that exceed the expectations of members or guests.

Has good collaboration skills but can also work independently.

Has strong social skills, is positive, responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Has good computer skills.

Meritorious

Knowledge of GIT = Golf IT system.

Experience in retail sales or has previously worked at a similar facility.

Previous experience in administrative work.

Is a golfer or has good knowledge of the game.

Experience with social media and websites.

The above is meritorious, but the most important thing is your attitude and willingness to contribute.

The work is primarily scheduled during daytime on weekdays, but you should be prepared to work at varying times, and weekend work may occur.

This position can be staffed by one person full-time or distributed among several people part-time.

Location: Ulricehamn Golf Club

Period: Approximately 6 months between April 15 – October 15 (may vary slightly)
