Job Description

We are currently looking for an operational transport planner in maritime transport for a summer temporary position for our client in Solna. Take the opportunity to join a close-knit team in an exciting role. As this is a temporary summer position to cover for regular staff, there is no possibility for extended leave, possibly a few days.

Assignment: May - August

Scope: 40h/week, hybrid. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

You will work with various flows, oversee transports, and be the spider in the web among suppliers, carriers, and warehouses.

Your tasks include:

• Controlling and coordinating transports, checking what has arrived
• Registering how the week's transports look
• Following up on KPIs
• Entering data in Excel
• Registering unloading times

The department in Solna consists of 6 colleagues who work with different parts of the company's transport and logistics. You help each other but also have different areas of responsibility. During your initial period, you will receive on-site training from regular staff. You will work in several different systems, both old systems and new ones being implemented.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience in Transport work for at least 2 years
• Experience in administrative work, at least 1 year.
• Experience with customs
• Communicative
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Worked with Outlook and email
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Proactive, initiative-taking, and solution-oriented
• Education in transport/logistics (we prefer that you are currently studying)

Meritorious:

• System savvy, experience with both transport and invoicing systems.
• Previous experience in the transport of food products.

You enjoy having many points of contact, both internally and externally, and value and maintain these connections. You are also not afraid to pick up the phone when needed to quickly move forward in certain matters.
