The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant with us, you play an important role in providing support, security, and quality of life to people in various life situations. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a professional and caring organization.

As a care assistant, you work to provide care and social support to those in need. You work based on individual implementation plans and are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on measures that promote the user's independence, security, and well-being.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical tasks as delegated
• Documentation according to applicable guidelines
• Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals

The work can take place in various types of operations, both within ordinary housing, special housing for the elderly, and short-term housing for the elderly. Work is conducted during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a care assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful interaction. You enjoy collaborating but are also comfortable working independently. Your commitment and sensitivity to the needs of others are crucial for success in this role.

We also expect you to have:

• Approved care assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to document according to applicable routines
• Experience in elderly care is an advantage
• A valid driver's license or cycling experience may be required depending on the operation.
