Electric Meter Technician for Eltel

Eltel works with planning, building, connecting, and maintaining electrical and telecommunications networks. We do this on behalf of our clients, who are mainly operators, network owners, and authorities as well as state agencies.

Working at Eltel means contributing to the functioning of Sweden's critical infrastructure, enabling both renewable energy and high-performance communication networks.

We are looking for an electric meter technician for a long-term rental assignment with our client Eltel, one of the leading companies in the electricity and energy sector! You will work around the Malmö area and other parts of Skåne. Travel to other parts of Sweden may also occur, and in these cases, we cover travel costs, accommodation, and allowances.

The work is long-term and a permanent position that begins with a 6-month fixed-term employment. Since the client company is large and operates broadly, there may be significant development opportunities in the long run.

Your Responsibilities

The work involves cable installation in connection with the new connection of electric meters for households. Other work with electric meters may also occur. You will primarily work together with one or more colleagues, but independent work is also part of the job. You will start from home with a service vehicle from the client company. You will receive thorough training, clear instructions and routines, and support from a competent and engaged leadership team.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has good tool skills. If you have electrical training or experience working with electric meters, it is a significant advantage. Since the work is partly physically demanding, good physical condition is required. A B driver's license for a car with a manual transmission is also a requirement. Customer contact occurs, so fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a must. English skills are highly meritorious.

Location: Malmö and other parts of Skåne.

Working hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, scheduled every other week Monday-Thursday and every other week Tuesday-Friday.

Salary: According to collective agreement.

Start: As soon as possible, considering any notice period.
