Job Responsibilities

In the role of steril technician or nursing assistant, you will be responsible, together with the rest of the team, for delivering safe and high-quality sterile products to our customers within and outside Region Halland.

Main Responsibilities:

• Receiving and cleaning instruments
• Packaging and sterilizing instruments
• Post-checks and documentation control
• Preparing deliveries for customers

For this position, working hours vary as we work both daytime and evening shifts.

About the Workplace

The Sterilization Unit is part of the Operations and Intensive Care Clinic in Varberg. The unit consists of three service points located in Varberg, Halmstad, and Kungsbacka.

Our team in Varberg includes 17 steril technicians/nursing assistants, as well as a department manager and a technical coordinator who divide their working hours between the units.

The main mission of the unit is to deliver sterile products to our customers within Region Halland as well as to our private customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is either a trained steril technician or nursing assistant. Previous experience in sterilization work is considered an advantage. Since we work in teams, it is important that you have well-developed collaboration skills, but you also have a good ability to work independently. Therefore, it is essential that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm and accommodating in your approach. You organize and prioritize work effectively while being meticulous and meeting the quality standards of the organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
