Part-time HSL Assistant for Home Care

We are currently looking for students in their 4th or 5th semester of nursing studies to join our home care team!

As a part-time HSL assistant, you will work alongside nurses in the municipality's home care, providing healthcare services (delegated by a nurse) to our citizens of all ages.

The home care service operates from several different workplaces from south to north and in central Kungsbacka. We work both in the patient's home and in our care and nursing homes and housing with special services.

Working as a substitute means you will get to know many people and life situations that you might not have encountered otherwise. It provides you with experiences and memories for life, but also places high demands on service orientation, flexibility, and commitment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • is studying nursing in their 4th or 5th semester
  • has a valid passport/national ID or work permit
  • has passing grades equivalent to Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language at a high school B2 level
  • is computer literate and can handle various systems
  • has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience working in healthcare

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer part-time employment starting by agreement.

As a substitute at Vikariecenter, you will:

  • Receive introductory training.
  • Shadow regular staff before you start working independently.
  • Have flexible working hours and also gain experience from different workplaces while building valuable contacts.

About Vikariecenter

Vikariecenter provides substitutes to cover vacancies that arise when regular staff are temporarily absent, for example due to illness or childcare. Vikariecenter is responsible for the recruitment and staffing of substitutes in personal assistance, daily activities, home care, home service, care and nursing homes, housing with special services, and meals.
