A job at IKEA is much more than just furnishing. Together we work to create a better everyday life for the many people.

We are looking for you who want to contribute, grow, and share. You want to make a positive impact on the world. You understand that you need to think differently to achieve success. An inclusive and accepting work environment is important to you. Become part of the team and start your journey at IKEA.

It all started with a summer job as a warehouse worker when Johanna put on our blue and yellow clothes for the first time. It was her sister who had suggested the job at our distribution center in Torsvik. Alongside her studies, Johanna returned the next summer again. After that, she stayed with her sights set on a position as a superuser. When the opportunity arose, she got it. 20 years later, she is still at Torsvik with several positions under her belt. Currently as a process developer. Her days are spent developing and improving IKEA.

Now you have the opportunity to wear our clothes for the first time. Maybe you will take the same journey as Johanna? Or find your own path? Regardless, we will support you.

Working with us

At IKEA, we work with many things. But one thing remains the same – we work with people and home furnishings. Our vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people.

Have you seen the large blue and yellow facility next to the E4 just south of Jönköping? That is part of IKEA Torsvik! Here, warehouse workers operate in three different buildings. We unload, pack, load, and ship large and small packages with our home products. They then go directly to customers or to our stores around the Nordics. We often use forklifts as our tools. Never driven a forklift before? No problem, we will teach you! In addition to a forklift license, you will have a summer full of action, movement, and hundreds of new friends.
