Would you like to be part of our happy team?
We are looking for someone who desires a permanent full-time position. As a bus driver with us, you will have varying working hours – perfect for those who enjoy flexibility and variety. You will start from our depot in Jönköping, where experienced team leaders are by your side and the atmosphere is as warm as the coffee in the break room. What you need to get started is a D driver's license and a valid YKB. We also expect you to enjoy delivering good service, ensuring that every trip is safe, smooth, and pleasant.
About Us
Vy Buss AB operates the city traffic in Jönköping for Jönköpings Länstrafik (JLT). Public transport is developing with the city's growth, and many central bus lines are now electrified with vehicles running on electricity or biogas. An express bus line between Huskvarna and Jönköping is also available. To support the expansion, JLT has built a bus depot in Ljungarum, including new stops and buses with USB chargers and defibrillators.
Daily Tasks
- Make our passengers feel so welcome that they want to take the bus again
- Drive safely and responsibly
- Be a helping hand, both for your colleagues and our passengers

Who Are You?
- You enjoy meeting people and see every encounter as an opportunity to brighten someone's day
- You have a valid D driver's license and approved YKB
- You are responsible, meticulous, and drive safely – as if your own life is at stake
- Greet cheerfully and smile (even before the coffee kicks in)
- Can keep time – or at least try your best with a focus on safety
- Can speak and understand Swedish so that you can provide information, alert when something happens, and chat with passengers when appropriate
- Are flexible – the job has varying working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. We plan in good time, but you need to be comfortable with days looking different.
- Experience in bus driving is an advantage but not a requirement
What You Get from Us
