The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is currently one of the largest operations in the country for care under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act, and the clinic is now in an exciting phase of expansion. From March 2, there will be 135 care places distributed across ten departments, and during March, all care departments will gather in completely new modern premises in Nacksta.

We are now looking for a caregiver to join our team! The position is a full-time temporary position until 2027-01-31, with a possibility of extension, starting as soon as possible.

Caregiver for RPK Department 92, Sundsvall

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care.

Your tasks will include:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on care and nursing interventions
• Accompanying patients during outdoor activities
• Social activation
• Supporting patients in daily activities
• Contributing to the department's ongoing operations as part of a health-promoting context. This may include cleaning, running errands, preparing meals, and other practical tasks performed together with colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained caregiver or nursing assistant with a professional certificate, has other education deemed relevant for the position, or has experience working in forensic psychiatry or correctional care
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have experience working in psychiatry/care or other professions that can be considered relevant to the current area of operations
• Have additional language skills
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
