Your Role:
As a Production Team Member at InnovaMar, you'll be at the core of our operations, contributing to the harvesting and processing of premium salmon. Your tasks will include manual cutting, packing, sorting, and preparation. Work shifts alternate between day and evening, offering flexibility and balance.
Position Details
- Role: Production Worker (Filet and Slaughter Department)
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the production process of fish products
- Packing and labeling
- Quality control and hygiene
- Equipment maintenance
- Team collaboration
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in salmon or food production is an advantage, but not required.
- Good communication skills in English or Norwegian.
- Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide a valid background check from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authorities (we assist with this).
- VALID EU PASSPORT OR NORWEGIAN PERMANENT RESIDENCY/WORK PERMIT (mandatory).
- Driving license is essential - living on Frøya requires personal responsibility for transportation. For permanent relocation, you should have the opportunity to purchase a car.

Workplace:
InnovaMar, Frøya
SalMar is located on Frøya, a small island with very limited public transportation. Having your own car or a valid driver's license is essential to live and work here comfortably. We can provide links to Facebook groups and rental platforms to help you find housing. Dormitory rooms may be available (waiting list applies) and are located 5 km from the factory. However, since there is no public transport between the dormitory and the workplace, you will still need your own transport or, in the first months, be willing to ask colleagues for a ride. Please note: It is each employee's own responsibility to arrange transportation to and from work.
