Are you curious about the role of project engineer? Are you driven by the desire to improve and develop Luleå? Then we have the position for you! We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career and wants to build experience and competence with us to eventually lead their own projects as a project manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a project engineer with us, you will support project managers in matters related to various ongoing and upcoming projects, with tasks such as financial monitoring, planning, review work, communication, and documentation.
You will work with different types of projects and technical areas related to investment projects, with varying focus and size. You will collaborate closely with our internal specialists, but are also expected to have contact with external consultants and contractors.
Tasks may include:
- Assisting the project manager with project monitoring regarding time, cost, quality, safety, and work environment.
- Ensuring the projects' invoicing flows, supporting the project manager in financial monitoring and other administration.
- Assisting the project manager in common project management tasks to ensure they are carried out and documented.
- Being a support and resource in the development issues of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree in a technical field at the university level in civil engineering or another education deemed equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience working on projects where you have been involved in several of the following aspects:
- Scheduling and monitoring of timelines
- Financial planning, budget monitoring, and deviation analysis
You have good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU), procurement within contracts, contract law including AB, ABT, and ABK, but this is not a requirement.
As a project engineer, we expect you to be good at prioritizing and structured, take initiative, and achieve results. You have a good ability to collaborate and build good relationships. An important part of the work is dialogue and consultation with relevant stakeholders, so we see that you are trustworthy, clear, and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. You are open to learning new things and driven by the desire to improve and tackle complex challenges in new ways and solutions.

The position is a fixed-term employment until 2026-10-31.
