Within Region Västernorrland, there are three local healthcare areas; south, west, and north where local collaboration occurs within/between municipalities, primary care, and specialist care. Together, we work to create a cohesive care chain for the growing patient groups of chronic and multi-sick individuals. The Northern Local Healthcare Area has a hospital and six region-operated health centers. The area also includes a private health center and a municipality. The Northern Local Healthcare Area has approximately 530 employees and two department heads. At the emergency department in Örnsköldsvik, we have about 55 employees, consisting of 35 nurses and 20 nursing assistants. We are now looking for a nurse to join our team!

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a temporary placement at the emergency department in Örnsköldsvik, starting on 2026-06-05 or by agreement.

Nurse for the Emergency Department, Örnsköldsvik

As a nurse in the Emergency Department, your responsibilities will include:

• Prioritizing and distributing tasks within the team
• Medication management
• Patient care
• Assessment and prioritization of patients
• Conducting examinations and treatments, and assisting the doctor with treatments, examinations, and sample collections
• Advising and guiding patients regarding self-care, etc.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience in emergency care
