ESAB in Gothenburg is the global competence center for R&D with approximately 200 employees, covering most functions such as R&D, Sales, Strategy, and support functions. We are located at Lindholmen, Gothenburg.

We are now looking for a MIG/MAG welder for our Process Center, which is part of the Global R&D Filler Metals development department. You will collaborate with other parts of the organization to contribute your expertise in the development of new and improved welding filler materials.

Job Description

In the role of welder at ESAB's Process Center, you will perform welding according to applicable standards and internal instructions to support internal and external customers. Welding evaluations, demos, ongoing improvement work, and method development are also part of the job.

Travel may occur in connection with customer visits or participation in trade shows.

• Extensive experience in MIG/MAG welding and good knowledge of parameter settings for different types of welding positions/equipment
• Good knowledge of welding in various types of steel alloys; Aluminum is highly meritorious
• Experience in mechanized welding or see it as your next career step
• Good workshop experience
• Good computer skills
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Quality and safety as a focus in your daily work
