Summer Temporary Position in Clinical Chemistry

About the Position

Clinical chemistry is a multidisciplinary laboratory where we work to provide the best possible service to healthcare, around the clock. Our 24/7 operations in Norrtälje are divided into several specialist areas, including transfusion medicine, pre-analysis and sampling, general and immunochemistry, blood gas, hematology, and coagulation.

As a summer temporary staff member, you will belong to the pre-analysis and sampling area and work daytime on weekdays in Norrtälje. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations, contribute to high quality in daily work, and become part of an engaged team that together makes a difference for patients and care.

We are looking for someone who

• finds it easy to collaborate with others, listens, and communicates well
• has a pronounced service mindset and the ability to understand both the patient's, customer's, and operations' needs and can provide good service
• takes responsibility for your tasks by working in a structured, careful, and quality-assured manner.

Qualifications

Requirements:

One of the following: trained nursing assistant, nursing student who has completed T4, biomedical analyst student who has completed T2, or medical student who has completed T5

Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

Previous experience in sampling.

Since the nursing assistant title has been protected since July 1, 2023, nursing students and medical students will be employed under the title laboratory assistants.

To be considered for a summer temporary position, you need to be able to work at least 7 weeks between June and August, with weeks 28-31 being preferred. A higher availability increases your chances of employment.
