Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a hungry and experienced transport manager for a client located in Norra Djurgårdsstan. The position is full-time with working hours from Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 16:00. You should be available to start working on March 3rd.

We are looking for someone who is self-assured, has experience from similar positions, and is used to having a lot of responsibility.

The transport manager is responsible for planning all transports with a sling truck and ensuring that consolidation and warehouse operations function smoothly. The following tasks are included:

Plan daily operations through daily management with visual planning provided by the supplier
Conduct site coordination meetings at the warehouse.
Responsible for ensuring that all packages are registered and handled according to specifications.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the entire facility
Be able to register goods in TBS for in/out registration.
Report facility issues to the responsible person at GFO.
Participate in site manager meetings.
Participate in management group meetings for the client.
Handle damages to goods according to specifications.
Ensure that all reports and statistics are produced weekly.
Quality assurance of documentation and all activities within warehouse operations. Audits should be conducted every 6 months.
Customer contacts with contractors and construction actors regarding relevant parts of warehouse operations.
The warehouse/transport manager is responsible for engaging staff in tasks such as cleaning, warehousing, sorting, organizing, and maintaining all materials within warehouse operations, including returns, construction materials, and reuse.
The warehouse/transport manager should also be able to assist with personnel for tasks outside of daily warehouse operations as requested by GFO.
Communicate statistics to all employees within the warehouse organization weekly.

The warehouse and transport manager will lead their own operations and report to GFO. GFO manages the overall operations through collaboration with all suppliers to optimize operations and follow up. The supplier reports to GFO with statistics on a weekly basis.

The supplier has reconciliation meetings with GFO at least once a month.
